I have XP Pro - all updates for XP, Norton Anti Vrius 2005, etc. Somehow a
virus slipped thorugh, and has put up a fake logon screen. No passwords
work, and I have used a password changer program also, but cannot eliminate a
third ID that is in the MAP file (the logon id's) Ctrl+alt+del also does not
work. Basically there are no keys strokes that work. I used a dos boot disc
and am locked out of the hard drive by the virus. (cd c:\ does not work) I
installed XP pro again on a partioned part of the drive, which now works, but
I have to reinstall all my software, and try to get a hold of all the
cusotmer support lines to get a key codes etc. What a pain!
Any help? I searched the Norton site and they say reinstall everything.
Glad I bought their software!

You'd be better off posting to a virus newsgroup.
