I suspect u were in BCC list. My exchange with RR Abuse
will hopefully explain how BCC works- IMHO its
half-assed at best!

===================================
Many people look at the spam they receive and can't
believe it showed up
in their box because, on the surface, it looks like
it's not addressed
to their account. This is normally due to the use of
the BCC field.

BCC is a blind carbon copy, meaning that all addresses
entered into this
field will receive the mail, but those addresses will
not be displayed
in any of the headers on the recipient's side. This is
the most common
place for the spammer to copy his master-list because
no one receiving
the spam will see any name on the list. When using the
BCC field, the
spammer commonly puts some generic, invalid e-mail
address into the To:
field. Addresses such as ,
,
are not methods of mailing to every
customer at a
particular provider and will likely bounce if you send
mail to them.

Also, the spammer will often use a nonexistent return
address to hide
their identity. An address like is
common.
Unfortunately, they often fabricate an e-mail address
on a valid domain
(rr.com, mediaone.net, aol.com, earthlink.com, etc.)
which causes a lot
of recipients to place blame on the wrong provider.

Sometimes the address they make up is an actual user,
so you can imagine
what a nightmare the owner of an address must suffer if
it shows up as a
forged header in a spam run. PLEASE, before accusing a
user or a
provider of spamming, verify the actual source of the
mail, and not just
the From : and Reply-To : fields.

Those spammers who do go the extra step to see which
addresses are valid
will be looking for anything mailed from you, so DO NOT
send a reply to
the spammer with a remove request or an angry rant
about how much you
hate their spamming - you'll simply confirm that your
address is valid,
and you'll probably increase the likelihood of even
more spam. So just
identify the originating source and send your complaint
to the proper
network - it's the quickest way to stop spammers in
their tracks.

For more information on how to do that, see the
following web pages:

To automatically report spam messages to the
appropriate providers, you
may wish to consider using the following service, which
has a free
reporting tool:
