quality of font display

I have a problem with fonts "Degrading" in quality. They
are blurred and seem to be lacking pixels. I am on XP Pro
and run Dreamweaver MX, Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop and
various other programs. Our IT folks keep sending me to
Macromedia and Dell but it is just getting worse. Anyone
have any suggestions?

If you use font subpixel antialiasing (display properties, effects) then
fonts can look blurred on CRTs. Also check your CRT (if it is a CRT)'s focus
(usually a screw in the side that can be tightened or loosened).
