I run Windows XP Service Pack 2 with Internet Explorer 6.0 and Outlook
Express. After my computer is in "standby" mode, either by direct command or
timed default, just getting back into the web browser or e-mail is either
very slow or not possible. Re-starting the computer corrects the problem,
but defeats the whole utility of being able to get back on-line without the
time-consuming re-boot. Any advice?
