XP Restore Point

I can't seem to enable System Restore. When I go to the
dialog box (the System Restore tab in My Computer
properties), System Restore is off, and grayed out.

I get a message that System Restore has been disabled by
Group Policy.

I access the Internet with this machine on a WiFi network
in my home office, but can't see why that would make a
difference. Also, this seems to have happened right after
the latest HotFix I downloaded and installed.
