Printer won't print test. I removed and put the printer back in, and upgraded
the drivers. I am missing a dll file I think. It was working perfect and
just quit. The test paper has the logo printed on it but not text. Please
help.

Wrong way round... you must install the printer software BEFORE reconnecting
the printer.

Tried to install software and it says that I have to have the printer pluged
in and powered on. Is there a dll file for printing? I think that that file
is missing. If I knew the file name I could do a repair and replace the one
missing. Thank you for your previous help.

There are about a million dll files.
You might want to try a repair installation .... see:

To which test are you referring? The printer self-test [see the manual
that came with the printer-if one did or see the documentation at the
printer maker's web page to see how to run and use the printer self-test)
or the test at the end of the set-up of the printer driver install? If
the former, and the printer self-test will not run, the printer probably
needs servicing/repair or replacement. If the test at the end of the
install, try removing the printer drivers and reinstalling. For that,
Cari provided a link to Michael Steven's excellent
suggestions/instructions for that which I copied to here:

Let us know.
