See if you can get the system into SAFE mode (hitting F8
during the startup). You may be able to troubleshoot from
there. Have you installed anything recently that might
have effected the system? Check your recovery and see if
you can revert to an earlier time when it was working.
Worked on an XP laptop one of my users had installed CD
Creator on.
