Epson printer model 777 stopped working !

Printer just stopped working for no reason . I changed all ink cartridges and
also tried to reinstall all printer drivers. Still no luck get message on
scene saying its not combatiable with a 16bit system . Im using windows XP
and printer always worked fine before. I cant reinstall drivers or any
updates for printer and one have any ideas how to fix this error ?
