i have been unable to send jpg's in my emails.
i can send bmp's without any trouble.is there a setting i
need to change or what?

There is no viable reason why you shouldn't be able to send them.

Some virus programs check for viruses in outgoin mail also.

You are absolutely correct, but if properly configured it shouldn't do
anything but scan them
