Half a dozen times or so I have found a file marked
simply ~ with no file extension in different locations.
I try to view files in text format if I don't know what
they are. After doing so, it seems to be a copy of my E-
mail address book and it has shown up in all sorts of
folders. Just a few minutes ago it showed up on the
desktop after I sent mail and changed an address. I
delete them when I find them and it doesn't seem to
affect my address book in Outlook Express 6. Not the end
of the world but I would like to know what is going on.
