sound drivers

I have been having trouble with my sound going on and off
lately.........i have run different tests and i know it
isn't my sound card.........but somehow different sound
drivers have been installed on my computer and they aren't
the right ones.....it won't let me uninstall them and i
can't dissable them....please any kind of help.
If you know how to fix this issue i'm having can you email
