What is VR Mode?

I have a -RW disc that is VR mode???

It allows you to record, stop, record, stop. remove disc.You cna also edit a
dvd-vr disc, as in menus, delete scenes etc. Disc needs to be finalised
before veiwing on dvd player. Most dvd cams have info on this in their
manual.
