Help

My computer hangs for 1-2minutes everytime i boot up, i
can access the start menu but thats it, not even the icons
on the desktop show, so i did some sniffing with msconfig
and i found that the workstation service is "pending" and
its like that until the 2minutes are up. this is a great
inconveniance. can i disable this service and have a
stable system? i saw that a hand full of services relay on
it. please help me.
