I am connected to a local printer and receive an "Document failed to
print" error each time I try to print. If I reboot the computer the
document will print, but then I have to reboot to get the next doc to
print. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I apparently got this wrong; I haven't used Netscape Newsgroups before I used
Agent.
I have the same problem. Using an hp/Compaq nx9020 notebook with Win XP and
an old hp Deskjet 320. No parallel port on this computer so I got a
USB-to-Centronix cable. The printer prints but all I get is an unknown error
til I reboot then whatever I tried to print last time prints! I don't know
what the error is, I went through Troubleshooting which didn't help. How do I
clear the error or get my stuff to print w/o a reboot? THe computer does
recognize the printer, I just get this error.
I also have some old utilities to copy a line feed or reset character to the
printer (a DOS batch file) but they don't work any more. Changed LPT1: to
USB1: but it still doesn't work I just get errors
Thanks! >
