I have been having repeated problems with my system
crashing suddenly. The history is as follows: I had a
soundblaster audigy plat. xt sound card that seemed to be
causing the system to hard crash to the blue screen of
death often, so I removed the card and went with the
integrated sound card. This stopped some of the
problems, but it caused damage to so many files that I
had to reformat the partition and reinstall windows xp.
this seemed to improve the situation but I still had a
system shut down at least 3 or 4 times a day, so I went
and took out every program on my computer except windows
and norton anti-virus. I ran this for awhile and it
still would shut down, not as much, then I installed
Quicken, updated the windows media player to 9, and Then
I really started having problems. I also downloaded
Kazaas desktop downloader, then I got this error message
that my mscoree.dll was missing, I looked in newsgroups
about this and got different responses, some say you
don't even need it and other gave some explanation for
how to fix it that I haven't a clue how to follow. I
know this is a long explanation, but if anyone can give
me any info, it would be great
Thanks
