I would like to know how to back-up my windows updates so
I can reformat my hd, reload windows xp home, and then
reinstall the updates without having the hassel of going
on-line to down load all of them again. Yes, if you were
going to ask, I have dial-up access only.

Hi Bill,

You can download the updates from Windows Catalog to your Hard Drive and
install them from there.

Go to the update sight and sellect "Personalize Windows Update"

Select to have the catalog added to See Also, Than access the catalog and
download the updates you need, and save them to a drive other than your
system drive or burn them into a cd.
