Stop error when trying to set pagefile size

When I try to manually set my page file in windows XP, I
get the following stop error:

"Stop 0x00000024 Classpnp.sys adress......"

chkdsk doesnt help me much, and deleting the page file
doesnt help much either. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Just an idea, Try it from safe mode. Use the same tools, ie set the page
file first and if it does not work reboot and delete the page file and than
reset it.
