XP does not hibernate

Give this a try. Go to control panel, click power
options, hibernate and uncheck enable hibernation box,
apply. Then do a disk cleanup.Start, all
programs,accesseries,system tools,disk clean up.Select
all options but "compress old files". After disk cleanup,
go back and enable(check) hibernation option, APPLY and
then re-boot....Good luck.
