You might want to consider using WinZip instead of just copying the files
directly to your cdrw. Besides compressing the files so that you could
store more on the cdrw and having only one file to copy onto it, you can use
some of the features of WinZip when you extract files from the archive onto
your laptop to do exactly what you want. Between the "Overwrite existing
files" and "Skip older files" options, you should be fine I would think.
