How to record through TV?

So how do I set up my camera to record what's playing on TV?

I have the AV jacks hooked up to the camera and TV....now what?

Press record......

You must have av-out on the tv.
AV in on the cam.
Cam in playback position and press the required combination of buttons for
your cam to activate the recording. Check manual for this.

Install a TV tuner card.
