View Full Version : Problem with new User Account/Administrator

For reasons I won't go into now, I decided to add myself as a new "User
Account" on Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. I gave myself Administrator
privileges, but I don't seem to be the actual "Administrator".

Now I have a genuine mess. Windows seems to have randomly decided which
programs and files would end up in the Adminstrator account and which would
end up in my "Mom" account, so my desktop, start menu and taskbar are all
messed up. For example, it put Microsoft Office in the Adminstrator start
menu only.

In normal mode, I have 2 accounts, Mom and Guest. In Safe Mode, I have
Administrator and Mom.

Now I can go into Windows Explorer and drag all the files/shortcuts around,
but that will take a lot of time because the changes were so random.

My question is: Is there any way I can go back and not have any "User
Accounts"?
