I just got Pioneer DVD R/RW and it work just fine. 2 Weeks later when I try to backup my files, the DVD keep asking for a dvd blank media. I already inserted Sony, Maxell and Verbatim. None of them works. I try to put a DVD movie and it read just fine. I already upgraded the firmware, got the new Nero and check the bios for possible PIO mode. I don't believe the drive is dead because it can still read DVDs. I'm very confuse and furious. Please help me. Thank you.

Try a CD lens cleaner disk.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for your reply.
I already tried it but it didn't work
Well, I have been through the net for any solution, like using 80 pin cable and so on but it still didn't work. I'm desperate.
Any other ways?

What DVD burning software are you using? Have you checked with their
support?

HI again Rick,

I really appreciate your help
I use Nero and Sonic, I will check the software homepage.
But I don't really think the problem is the software
Anyway, Thanks
