how do you create an upside down movie? I only downloaded the movies from
the internet. They played correctly at first but now are upside down.

When a player prepares to play video, it constructs a graph, which
includes several so-called "filters". These are components that perform
various functions, such as decoding audio, decoding video,
post-processing, etc. The combination of filters used depends on the
attributes of the clip to be played, as well as how the application
wants to do things. Some filters are supplied by Microsoft (e.g.
Directshow filters), others come from various third party producers,

There is one (at least) filter that is used to invert the video. If
this filter is inserted into any graph, the playback will come out
upside down. So now the questions:

- Which player are you using?
- What type of clips are you playing? Does the problem occur with more
than one type?
- Which decoder are you using?
- In the player you are using, is there a "flip" or "invert" option
that you had inadvertantly set? To verify this, try a different player.

If all else fails, you can download and install FFDSHOW, which has such
an invert option. Then you can configure it to handle the problematic
clips with the "invert" option set.

when editing videos in editing software you can rotate, But I've never heard
of movies from the internet play correctly once then upside down the next.
Did you try rebooting your computer to release anything that might be loaded
that could cause the problem?

I have the same upside down problem with a recent burned movie.I used win
movie maker then burned with sonicMydvd.No invert option used.Upside down in
all players.As far as decoders,I dont know.How do I know what i used?
