Recently the way files are displayed within programs when I uses file/open or
go to save a file to a folder has changed so that the files are not displayed
by file name. Some seem to be in most recently used order but it's so out of
order I'm not certain. This only happens within programs (PhotoShop, Firefox
ettc.), not within Explorer. If I browse in Explorer the order is correct but
not within any programs. It's very inconvenient since it makes it hard to
find a subfolder in a large directory and I can't figure out how to correct
it. Once in the dialog box I can change the sort order but I would like the
default back.
I have reset the default in explorer but that didn't change what happens
within programs.
