CANNOT OPEN YAHOO MESSENGER

hello people, i hope u guys can help or give some ideas why i cant open up my
yahoo messenger? everytime i click to open yahoo messenger it flashes a
second then it will disapper. i cannot even type my username or password
because it always disappear. i hope u guys can help me with this. thank u in
advance!!!

This isn't a Yahoo newsgroup, but have you tried uninstalling and
reinstalling?
