i've had problems with the web pages not being at full
screen on my 17" monitor. one web page in question is
gateway home page, i'm using it for example because this
is a new gateway pc with windows xp. there are other web
pages that won't comwe up full screen also. it was
suggested to change my resolution, i have and it helps, in
order to get a page to come up full screen i have to set
the resolution at 800 by 600 which to me seems to be poor
quality, i was using a 15" monitor before with no
problems. lets say i bought a 19" monitor instead of a
17", wouldn't i be in more in for a bigger suprise of
dissatisfaction, why do they make bigger monitors if this
is the results you get. someone explain all this to me
please thanks for any help, Clarence

Install updated video card drivers and maybe monitor drivers.
It's not the monitors causing the problem, it's your settings or drivers
