Hi

Where are saved the images you add as your image in Messenger ?

I have lost my drive D: where were all my images but the ones I used in
Messenger still show. They obviously are somewhere else but where ? I made a
search on my drives and didn't find them.

Greetings Bill,

You can still get to them, but they'll be the resized version that Messenger provides.

They're stored in \Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN
Messenger\anumber\UserTiles. Where username is your Windows username and anumber is an
integer representation of your e-mail address (just go through them all if you have
multiples).

They'll show up as .DAT files but they're actually PNGs, so just copy and rename them as
necessary.
