Stupid question here! A 128 MB card came with my PC. Not sure what to do
with it-where it goes-what it does etc. My PC has been running really SLOW
and lots of programs not responding-Could this be why?? Any help would be
great:)

What does this 'memory card' look like ?? Does it have any markings on it ??
Did you check the user's manual for your computer ??

Did your PC suddenly slow down ?? Have you checked it for viruses and
malware ?? What programs have you installed recently ??

what do you mean? It came with a memory card installed, and an extra one
not installed?
In addition to MadDog's questions, did you do any kind of disk cleanup. If
it is an extra memory card and it is the same as what's in your computer,
just look in the manual which will have instructions and diagrams fro
installing your ram. 128 is the minimum that xp requires, and unless you
have a tons of programs, etc, 128 is acceptable amount of ram, but you will
notice a dramatic increase if you add another stick of 128.
I find that most people do not do the basic maintenance on their computers,
do not have sufficient programs for virus protection, and the like, then
wonder why ti's running so slow.
Use Google to further your computer education..type in words like how to
keep xp running fast...that type of thing. You'll have tons of information
to read, but you'll have a better operating computer.

What is the exact labelling on the "memory card"?

If this is a new PC (purchased within the past year) then it is most
likely a USB flash drive, which you would plug into one of the USB
ports on the computer. You can then use it as a removable disk, just
like a 3.5 inch diskette only with much larger capacity.

It could also be one of the special memory card types used in digital
cameras, in which case your computer should also have a memory card
reader with several different slots for inserting different types of
memory cards into. These memory cards also can be used the same as
the USB flash drive described above.

Good luck
