I am currently running Windows XP professional. I would like to uninstall Office XP English version and install Office XP (or 2000) Spanish version.
Does anyone know if Office XP spanish will work with the OS still in english? I do not have all the disks to do a clean reinstall of everything...

In order to change the language of your OS - you must perform a clean
installation.

D'oh!
You are correct, Frank. My bad and my apologies to the OP.

I cannot help with that one. Perhaps you should ask this in a more
appropriate newsgroup, such as an Microsoft Office newsgroup where someone
would have more facts to help out. My guess is that it should work fine -
but I do not know how much Office depends on the language of the installed
operating system - if at all.

In order to install a Spanish version of Office,
you would need to be running a Spanish version
of Windows XP.
