All of my XP-Pro clients experience a long delay (30 s.)
when accessing a network share of a high level directory
on a Windows 2003 server. There is no delay when
accessing a shortcut to single file within the same share.
Windows 2003 member servers do not have the same delay
when accessing the same shares . . . Just XP. It make no
difference what user account is be used. All accounts are
effected.
