I go to my fonts folder (C:\WINDOWS\Font) and click on File but there is =
NOTHING there that says "Install New Font". If I drag and drop it does =
not install. Can someone help me or tell me why?

Most common cause for this is the Fonts folder has lost its system
attribute. To fix, open a command prompt window and enter the following
command:

attrib +s +r %windir%\fonts

That will add the proper attributes for the fonts folder back. Now open
the Fonts folder, either through explorer or Control Panel, and see if the
Install New Font entry is now on the File menu.

To manually install or re-install a font:

· Go to the Control Panel, then select Fonts folder.

· On the File menu, click Install New Font.

· In the Drives box, click the drive that has the floppy or CD-ROM
that contains the fonts you want to add.

· Click the font you want to add. To select more than one font at a
time, press and hold down the CTRL key while you click each font.

· Click to select the Copy Fonts To Fonts Folder check box. The
Windows\Fonts folder is where the fonts that are included with Windows XP
are stored.

· Click OK.

Hope this has been of assistance to you.
