Hello, I need to know why my computer continually
rebooted after the welcome screen, after I installed
WinXP SP1. I then used safe mode to access system
restore to restore my computer back to before I installed
SP1. No reboots after I restored the system. Can anyone
tell how I can fix this so I can install SP1 with out any
continual reboots? THANK YOU

Open Control Panel - System - Advanced - Startup and Recovery
Settings. In the System Failure section click on the "automatically
restart" checkbox to clear it.
Now instead of restarting your computer will probably produced a Blue
Screen Of Death STOP error message. The information on the STOP
message screen should help identify the underlying cause of the
problem.
Good luck
