My boss purchased an HP PAVILION Laptop in August of last
year. It has windows xp on it and required the service
pack 1 update on it. Well, once that required service
pack is put on the system we can not get on the web.
Wont connect to server? I have tried several internet
service providers, updating the bios and everything that
HP techs have suggested. And nothing works. If I
restore the hard drive it works great as long as I do not
install the service pack 1 on here. HP says it is a
software problem so they will not take it back and fix
it. Has anyone had this problem??? Or has any idea how
to correct it?? We have a laptop that is useless to our
business. Or maybe suggestions on getting in touch with
Microsoft to get a better copy of Windows XP?? Any help
would be appeciated! Thanks!
