I have discovered that if I "Stop" a search or close the
search window, explorer.exe promptly jumps to 98%+ CPU
utilization. The only solution seems to be stopping the
explorer.exe process and using the task manager, under
Applications, select new Task end enter explorer.exe to
restart the task bar. Alternatively, I can reboot.
Additionally, searches sometimes appear to hang during the
search process and don't move although the greeb activity
bar continues to move. Killing the search also produces
the high CPU issue.
