Start Menu Issues

I am having some major start menu issues...it takes about
three or for secods to load and to go to any of the
submenus and then about 3 seconds for it to
dissappear...any idea of what could cause this problem?
Every other program opens up normally on my
computer...jsut as fast as it normally does...but only
the start menu is having the issue! Any ideas on why or
how to fix? Thanks!

Go to Start>Run type: msconfig Select Startup Tab and see what
programs are on the list. Uncheck all unnecessary
ones.
