Some items cannot be shown

When I click on start, I get a message "Some items cannot
be shown" Not enough room to show all the items you have
added to the start menu. To display them use small icons
or remove items from the stat menu.

Problem is, I already use the small icons and I only have
five items in the start menu and I still get the message.

Right click on items on left side and select 'remove from this list'.
