Unable to uninstall software

Hi All
I don't know if I am posting this in the correct area but don't know where
else to.
Am trying to temporarily uninstall a software program (Hallmark card studio
deluxe 3) by going to.. add/remove and also start/programs/uninstall but am
getting the following note, "error extracting support files", and "the
system cannot find file specified". Can anyone help this computer novice out.

If you have access to the installation media, try reinstalling the app, and
then uninstall it.

Reinstall then uninstall.
