View Full Version : CD's and DVD's Don't AutoRun Anymore

I have WindowsXP Pro. For some reason, none of my CD- or DVD-based
software will run automatically after loading the CD/DVD in the drive.
Instead, a window pops up which lists the files on the disk.

I think that some automatic setting has somehow been changed.

Can someone point me to where I can reset it so the software
automatically runs?

Thanks!

Try, right clicking the drive in Windows Explorer and look through the
properties, particularly the Autorun settings for that drive. Also if you
have tweakiu there are autorun settings in there as well.

Go to Start, Help and Support, and look up AutoPlay, click the link and
follow the instructions.
