add/remove programs

When I upgraded from Windows me to xp nothing shows up in
my add remove programs. Also when I go to start programs
many of them are saying that the programs arent installed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the programs truly are on your system, you will need to reregister them as
the upgrade from ME to XP would not have carried forward the Registry changes
caused by a program installation
