System Processes

I have a process called 'System' under the user
name 'System' that is running at 100% all of the time.
Any ideas?

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

Expand "Software Environment" and click on "Running Tasks"
to view the path to the folder.

This will provide an indication of why its running.
