Blue window with/ error Number 0x000007B

After sarting upgrading from Windows 2000 pro. XP
Professional give me a bluee screen with Error Number
0x000007B Upon trying to start the computer under windows
2000 pro, only Windows XP appears as the only OS in the
computer, and after carefull reading the booklet that
accompany the CD I found to my sorrow that Win. XP can't
be deleated if you upgrade from win.2000Pro. How can I
finish installing win.XP Pro if the computer refuses to
bootup and the only screen that keeps appering is BLUE
WITH THA ABOVE ERROR MESSAGE. Please help me with a
workable solutions to this BLUE PROBLEM.
