Blue Screens, memory dumps, error messages of all types.
They range from Norton drivers, Nvidia drivers to no
file/driver identified at all.
This problem has happened on two harddrives, two
motherboards and processors and several formats. After
the last format it took 17 days for it to return. The
event log is basically worthless in solving the problem.
Microsoft knowledge base doesn't have any information
relating to the ID Code. I've downloaded the newest
Nvidia driver that is suppost to be XP friendly and I
attempted to install Nortons 2003 but my computer would
not boot untill I uninstalled it and went back to Nortons
2002. I suppose I should buy a new video card and maybe
some different memory but I have several friends that are
running XP Pro and they have the same problem. If the
blue screens had a certian time frame it would help but
they pop up in the middle of the night when the computer
is not being used or at any random moment at any given
time. I also get a number of this "application needs to
close" windows. I really like XP but it appears that
there are some problems with XP interfacing with various
hardware and software applications. Does anyone have any
input on these problems? They're are a number of people
who would like to make the blue screens history.
Thanks
