I'm reposting this problem of windows explorer
periodically spiking to 100%cpu usage, which many people
seem to have but no one has a very clear response about
what causes it or how to fix it. I've read 317751 which
details this exact problem, but microsoft claims to have
fixed this in a Service Pack. As far as i can tell, i
never had this problem BEFORE the service pack. If there's
a hotfix that'll take care of this, great. But for now,
i've tried not running Norton, but it still happened.
Maybe if i uninstall SP1 and then reinstall it, or install
SP1a? Please help me out, because this whole thing makes
my computer run waaaay too slow. THanks in advance.
