I attempted to add RAM to my computer, but then I get an
error prior to the Windows boot. It says that the
fastfat.sys file is missing or corrupted. How can I work
around this?

Is the Ram you are adding the same model and manufacturer as the old Ram?

You may want to perform a memory test to verify that the RAM you added
is functioning properly. A good freeware for this would be
www.memtest86.com.
