Video conferencing -OK in 4.7, unable in 7

My son and I are trying to video conference in version 7.......he can see and
hear me, I can hear him but cannot see him.
So we switch to version 4.7 and then it works.
Found that ZoneAlarm has caused problems, so I disengage it.

Any suggestions? I can live with 4.7 but he wants to get the newer version
to work.

4.7 - as Windows Messenger v MSN Messenger 7.5? Check UPnP settings in your
router; in MSN Messenger, did you try the Connection test tools in
Tools/Options/Connect?
