This afternoon I was connected to the internet and my system went into
standby mode for some unknown reason. I rebooted and then ZoneAlarm Pro
recognized a new network at 169.254.0.0 and deleted my router network
address. I have tried everything I know to correct even deleting and
reinstalling ZoneAlarm. I tried to run sfc and it bombs. I tried to repair
the network connection. It goes through the process and gets to the end and
says it can't change the IP address. Is this a known virus or worm. I ran
Norton AV and Spybot but they found nothing. Any suggestion of what to do
next? Thanks.
