Menu options dont appear

When I click on any menu option (ie. File, Edit, View,
etc.) or right click on a menu generating link, the
options do not appear in the drop down box. They only
appear after I move the mouse down through the options.
Why? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually due to a display issue. Check for new display drivers. Turning
graphics hardware acceleration down a notch may help to tide you over
until a corrected driver is released. You'll find this setting in
Display Properties (Settings> Advanced> Troubleshoot).
