WordPerfect 8 spell checker

Since installing Windows XP, using the WordPerfect spell
checker causes WordPerfect to crash.

Is this a conflict with XP or a fault in WordPefect?

to crash", it's a WordPerfect issue.

Does WP give you an error message? If so, please post same; this
sometimes assists in tracking down problems.

The Corel Knowledge Base for WP8 has nothing about this when one
searches for "spell checker"; there are twenty-one items there, but
none about a known crash with Windows XP. For that matter, a Corel KB
search for "Windows XP" does not provide eludcidation.
