I just intsalled Win XP Pro on a compaq laptop. when I go
to shut down I get used to get a option of restart, shut
down, standby, hibernate etc. Now I only get log of user,
shut down and restart. How can I get the standby and
hibernate back?
I also have a question about outlook explorer. This might
not be the right place to ask for this but I figured I'll
take a chanse.
- when I scroll down to look for messages, it takes for
ever to scroll.... why is that and what can I do to solve
this?

Thanks

Not sure about the slow scrolling but depending on how old your laptop is
the bios may not allow for hibernation in XP.
