I have a problem with my 3d video games. When I load a game in it becomes unplayable after 10 to 20 seconds as the movement becomes jumpy. I am using XP pro with a Radeon 9550 256mb video card. I do not think it is the video card as I have tried it with another type of card and it still does the same thing I am using Direct x 9c and all tests on this seem OK Any ideas?

Gaming is just about one of the most intensive things you can do with a PC
so you need to ensure the rest of the PC is up to spec.... lots of RAM, a
good CPU and plenty of fans in the PC case. Ensure as little other programs
are running as possible....

Thanks Carl but I should of added I have 1024Mb of memory and AMD XP2500+ CPU that has been overclocked The radeon 9550 has also been overclocked to try and get better chances I have uninstalled all drivers and then put them back again and Reset my system to normal in an effort to sort things out. I am trying to play tiger woods PGA tour06 which does not have particularly high demands nless I can come up with any better ideas I am thinking of wiping the disc and starting again!

Overclocking could have damaged your hardware.
